Continuidade e Estabilidade dos Fluxos Físicos – uma Quimera em Aplicações da Lean Construction?

Resumo

De há muito foi demonstrado que os canteiros de obras repetitivos se caracterizam pela descontinuidade do fluxo produtivo, falta de sequência e grande variabilidade no emprego de recursos. As implantações de produção enxuta em canteiros de obra têm se endereçado à métricas como remoção de restrições, percentual de pacotes concluídos (PPC) e desvios de prazo, não tendo ainda enveredado para medidas mais operacionais, refletindo aspectos específicos advindos da engenharia de produção, como potencialmente expostos por diagramas de fluxo, mapofluxogramas e diagramas homem-máquina. Como método de trabalho são utilizadas a pesquisa documental e bibliográfica. Esse artigo revisa a bibliografia recente ilustrando que, na maioria dos casos, ainda há descontinuidade, falta de sequência e instabilidade no fluxo produtivo. O trabalho reúne evidências da experiência de três canteiros de obra antecipando e corroborando a revisão da bibliografia quanto as dificuldades e falta de sucesso na implantação dos conceitos de fluxo em obra.
