Abstract

The increasing use of precast concrete as a constructive technique in several types of projects leads to the need for developing improvements to increase their productivity. The prefabricated concrete elements, whose production line is made up of several parts, have different possibilities for applying improvements. Specifically focused on one of these components, this work develops a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) regarding improvements for the production and installation of steel reinforcement for concrete structures. A protocol for the development of SLR is presented, including its bibliometric analyzes, which lead to the definition of the topics covered by the selected researches. The results of the review stand out as the management of the supply chain for optimization of deliveries, stocks and handling of materials in the production of reinforcement, as the theme most explored by the articles; and the use of computational tools in production management as a knowledge gap with possibility of further exploration in future researches.
