Building Information Modeling – BIM, Facilities management, Operation & maintenance, Systematic literature reviewAbstract
This research aims to delineate the frontiers of knowledge and identify gaps and future research directions regarding the uses of BIM for the management, operation and maintenance of facilities. A mixed method of review was used that associated scientometric analysis and systematic literature review. As a result, it was possible to identify that the field “BIM for management, operation and maintenance of facilities” is growing. In addition, BIM application purposes for management, operation and maintenance have been expanded and the use of emerging technologies has shown promise in this field.
