Abstract

Although the AECO is important for the economy, it is responsible for the production of a relevant amount of RCD, which can be reduced with the use of BIM. Therefore, the inefficiency of waste management by AECO needs to be addressed. The increased use of BIM by AECO has revealed potential for the correct management of RCD. Furthermore, the dispersion of academic knowledge about BIM applied to CDW management is contained by this systematic review. Through WoS, 18 BIM studies applied to CDW management were selected. The results reveal the effective viability of BIM for managing CDWs in Brazil.
