Abstract

The optimization process through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is important in the construction industry in technical decision-making for assembly services on construction sites. The optimization process can be considered as finding the variables or conditions that provide a given function's minimum or maximum value or set of functions necessary to minimize costs and/or maximize benefits. The objective is to identify and analyze optimization methods through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The methodology is based on a bibliographical review, promoting an understanding of technical approaches in applying AI and BIM. The main results are the identification and analysis of optimization methods. The contribution of this study presented through AI, BIM, and operational research, using mathematical methods and computational algorithms, contribute to decision-making.
