The efficient management of rainwater runoff represents a significant challenge in the context of urban planning, especially in Brazil, where the disorderly growth of large cities has been a striking feature. In recent years, there has been an increase in investments directed to the sector, driven by the legal framework for sanitation and by encouraging the use of Information and Construction Modeling (BIM), through the BIM BR strategy. In this context, Urban Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) emerge as promising solutions, capable of mitigating flows and, in some cases, reducing implementation costs. This work proposes a new work methodology integrating Visual Programming and BIM, to perform iterative adjustments of hydrological and hydraulic parameters, aiming for efficient analyses. The integration of these tools automates parts of the drainage sizing process, allowing for faster, more efficient and effective analyses. The initial results show that the research presents feasibility in applications for the automation of drainage projects with more sustainable solutions, using modeling and visual programming tools.
