Análisis de plataformas de código abierto en arquitectura
Contribuciones para una práctica constructiva sostenible

Este artículo busca analizar el uso de plataformas de código abierto en proyectos de arquitectura en el contexto actual, tomando como recorte iniciativas orientadas a las construcciones modulares mediante la fabricación digital. Se parte de la hipótesis de que muchas de ellas están intrínsecamente relacionadas con principios de sostenibilidad y colaboración, y que pueden aportar significativamente para enfrentar los desafíos climáticos, económicos y sociales. A partir de una revisión sistemática de la literatura, se buscó comprender: (i) qué principios conceptuales fundamentan estas estrategias, (ii) qué repertorios tecnológicos se utilizan como soporte para el desarrollo de los proyectos, (iii) qué iniciativas sostenibles concretas pueden identificarse; y (iv) cuáles son las brechas y desafíos para su difusión e implementación.
Los resultados revelaron que los principios de democratización, colaboración, personalización y sostenibilidad son los más recurrentes. Se observó una gran diversidad en la aplicación del término plataforma, destacándose los sistemas constructivos modulares disponibles en línea orientados a la fabricación digital. Se concluye que su difusión y aplicación dependen principalmente de una combinación de incentivos gubernamentales y estrategias de capacitación y formación profesional.
