ANALYSIS OF HOUSING IMPROVEMENTS BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS OF NBR 15.575:2013

As part of programs to mitigate Brazil's housing problems, the Technical Assistance Programs for Housing Improvements finance renovations that transform inadequate housing into adequate housing. These are services with a limited budget, as they are performed in buildings built without professional guidance and that often do not follow urban planning laws. In this sense, the objective of this study is to analyze between the services performed in housing improvement works and the performance requirements according to the methodology of NBR 15.575:2013 in social interest housing remodeling projects through technical assistance programs in housing improvements, relating the services performed in 47 cases in three Brazilian regions with the requirements of users prescribed in the standard and its requirements. The results show that the services most frequently performed in the reference studies concern the requirements for thermal and luminous performance and that the system that suffered the most intervention is that of walls, followed by the sanitary system. Still, it is highlighted that the requirements that involve the performance of the building's surroundings present greater difficulties in being associated with housing improvements
