PANORAMA AMBIENTAL URBANO DO SETOR SUL DE UBERLÂNDIA – MG

Abstract

The present work results of Research Project titled 'Sustainable Project for the City of Uberlandia - Southern Sector (Part IV) presents the results of Scientific Initiation research - IC - FAPEMIG / UFU, 2018/2019. This research applies the Complex Unit Diagram - DUC - methodology (VITAL, 2012) relating the concepts of Systemic Thinking (CAPRA and LUISI, 2014) and Complex Thinking (MORIN, 1990), Ecology (ODUM, 1988) and Sustainability structuring four dimensions: (1) the Philosophical Dimension comprises the way human beings relate to the planet and the preservation of life, to study the ecological awareness degree (2.) the Environmental Dimension analyzes the urban ecosystem, vegetation, water resources, soils and bioclimatic aspects; (3.) The Dimension of the Built Environment studies 'everything' that is constructed, spatial production, landscape, morphology and urban infrastructure; and (4.) The Urban Web Dimension corresponds to urban dynamics verification, social movements and the vitality degree. The research objective is to construct the Urban Environmental Panorama of Southern Sector in Uberlandia in order to identify the urban environmental quality degree and thus propose guiding axes to elaborate a Sustainable Project for the City.
