ESTUDO DE CASO DE IMPLEMENTAÇÃO E COMPATIBILIZAÇÃO EM BIM

The processes, systems and subsystems intrinsic of the construction make the construction industry a challenge. Inevitably, traditional design tools are being replaced by new methods and software that provide more precision and agility in design development, construction planning and other phases of the project. Building Information Modeling (BIM), through interoperability between softwares, allows the generation and the sharing of information among the professionals involved. It was then proposed to evaluate the potentialities and difficulties of implementing BIM in a building located in Três Lagoas - MS, whose designs were developed in AutoDesk AutoCAD®. The objective of this article is to present the work of compatibilization between the architectural, structural, electrical and hydraulic designs of the aforementioned building, identifying the difficulties in the process. To do so, AutoDesk Revit® software was used for parametric modeling and AutoDesk Navisworks® for compatibilization. The results presented emphasize that organizational adaptations are necessary for the implementation of the platform, but highlighted as benefits of BIM, such as the reduction of mistakes in works due to incompatibility between projects. This article presents an initial stage of the research in development entitled “Study of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the implementation of concepts of Simultaneous Engineering and sustainability”, which through a case study dimensions of BIM: 4D, 5D, 6D and 7D, with BIM applications in Planning, Budgeting, Maintenance Management and Energy Efficiency of Buildings.
