Abstract

This article derives from the End of Course Work (ECW) in Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF) developed in partnership with the Extension Project of the same university linked to the PROEXT MEC / SESu 2016 entitled: Escritório-Escola Itinerante do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da UFJF: assessoria técnica para apoio ao governo municipal no planejamento e gestão da política habitacional de interesse social. In this research, the program Minha Casa Minha Vida (MCMV) is approached through an evaluation of the architectural and constructive quality of housing units (UHs) inserted in the Residencial Miguel Marinho, executed by the program. In this context, it is also addressed the Performance Standard (ABNT NBR 15575/2013), which establishes the minimum performance that housing must achieve, stipulating parameters and criteria to measure it. The objective of this study is to present the results of the research and verify how the application of the Standard could contribute to solve the pathologies and verified demands. For this, a bibliographic review and application of PostOccupancy Assessment (POA) instruments were carried out and, in response to the diagnosis obtained, design guidelines were developed for future social interest projects that may be developed in the city.
