Comparação entre cronograma físico-financeiro e os sistemas construtivos de alvenaria convencional e container

The construction with the use of container has gained notoriety in recent years. The few researches that deal with this constructive system highlight the positive aspects related to sustainability, innovation and constructive viability. However, the analysis of cost and time is still poorly explored. In this sense, this paper aims to make a comparison of cost and time between the construction in container and the traditional masonry system, quite consolidated in the Brazilian works. For this, a case study was carried out, being the study object two architectural designs of a single-family residence with a popular pattern, from which the budget and schedule were made based on these two constructive systems. From the comparative analysis of the budget tables, the bell curve and the S curve, it can be highlighted as advantages of the construction in container: the speed of execution of 49% in relation to the conventional masonry system, the positive related aspects to Sustainability and cleanliness at the construction site.
