ANÁLISE HIGROTÉRMICA DE DIFERENTES TIPOS DE VEDAÇÕES VERTICAIS DE MADEIRA PARA A ZONA BIOCLIMÁTICA BRASILEIRA 2
Keywords:
Wood, moisture transfer, thermal performanceAbstract
The use of wood in civil construction can present favorable characteristics to the sustainability practices in buildings. Brazil is a country that has a large production of trees, thus studies are needed to investigate and encourage the use of wood in construction. The objective of this work was to analyze different constructive systems regarding the moisture transfer (by capillary and steam transport) and thermal performance. The methodology was divided in three steps, in step one were 6 constructive systems of wood facades were defined: S1 lamell wood; S2 lamell, air layer and OSB; S3 lamell, mineral wool and OSB; S4 lamell, mineral wool, air layer and OSB; S5 lamell, air layer, mineral wool and OSB and S6 lamell, hydrophobic sheath, air layer, mineral wool and OSB. The second step consisted in the program parameters and, in the last step the simulations were performed in the WUFI® software. As for the thermal performance only the system 1 was rejected, according to ABNT NBR 15220 and NBR 15575. As for steam transport flow and total humidity, all systems indicated positive results. It was observed that there was no interference of the mineral wool position with respect to flow, moisture content, dryness rate, capillary transport and vapor transport.
