The teaching of sustainability in Architecture and Urbanism courses has been debated for a long time and several authors have identified and debated aspects that corroborate the complex and multifaceted activity of teaching architecture. The main objective is to analyze the existence or possibility of integration with other areas of knowledge, mainly related to sustainability and environmental comfort, in design studios in undergraduate courses in Architecture and Urbanism at selected federal universities, from the point of view of professors who teach theoretical subjects and/or project workshops. The method assumes the use of a mixed methods approach (qualitative and quantitative) incorporating grounded theory, to generate themes, supported by a literature search to verify the defining characteristics of the questions to be asked to understand the current situation of sustainability teaching in graduation. Bibliographic review, professional experience and questionnaire development are part of the chosen method. A first experimental interview was carried out and some weightings placed indicate paths and adjustments to be considered. Results corroborate practical teaching processes in workshops and content integration in the area of sustainability and environmental comfort.
