Abstract

This paper aims to describe the steps of the creation of a prototype of a micrometeorological backpack for a traverse and the subsequent addition of sensors. Through multidisciplinary research in progress since 2019, a prototype of a micrometeorological backpack based on the Arduino platform was developed at the Sustainability Laboratory applied in Architecture and Urbanism - LaSUS and Physics Teaching Laboratory – LADEF to carry out measurements in the field. A prototype was designed, tested and, when finalized, it was called Bioclimatic Backpack. In a second phase, new sensors were added and an alternative was sought for data storage. The results reinforce the value of integrating technology in the repertoire of knowledge aiming at collaborative work with open hardware and open software for the study of the thermal field in the city.
