This article presents the bioclimatic studies based on computer simulations that compose the Neighborhood Impact Study (NIS) for the evaluation of the impacts on the microclimate resulting from the implementation of the Revitalization project of the Sports Complex of Brasília, more specifically the project called “BSB Arena”. The methodological procedures encompass the description of the project, the three-dimensional modeling of the object of study, the configurations of the climatic variables according to the characteristic climatic seasons of Brasília (hot-dry and hot-humid) and the final stage of processing the simulation microclimate with the Envi-met program (version 4.4). The results indicate the existence of positive impacts on the local microclimate due to the increase in vegetated, shaded and permeable areas, such as a reduction in the air temperature on the pedestrian scale (reduction of up to 3 ° C in the hot-dry period), a slight reduction in wind speed (from 0.25m/s to 0.75m/s) and increase in relative humidity (from 2.5% to 12.5%), considering 5 simulation times (9 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, 6 pm and 9 pm). For the development of the simulation calculations, this research incorporated part of the simulation processing in a computing cloud by means of virtual machines. This service was employed to run simulations in parallel to real machines, thus reducing their total time, since large scenarios require computational and time resources.
