GRAU DE EXPLORAÇÃO DE TEMAS PRIORITÁRIOS DA INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION OF ILLUMINATION (CIE) NOS ENCAC-ELACAC (2009-2019
Keywords:
Non-visual aspects of light, Healthy lightAbstract
Since new discoveries in the relationships between the areas of ambient lighting and circadian regulation, international studies have been dedicated to exploring the consequences of exposure to light in humans regarding aspects not related to vision. These are examples linked to the circadian cycle, such as sleep quality, hormone production, mood states, stress, among others. For such studies, biological markers such as heart rate and hormonal secretions are monitored while different lighting settings are used. The topical importance of research is such that the Commission Internationale de l´Eclairage - CIE places it as a priority among the themes to be urgently explored in research. Objective: to know the degree of exploration of the theme in our country. Methodology: a bibliographical research was carried out with the search for works on the subject in the production of ENCAC-ELACAC from 2009 to 2019. For this, all works of the event in this period were raised within the theme of lighting, won in 1,344 articles. A protocol for selecting articles to be selected for an in-depth review, in line with the research theme followed, considering the descriptors “nonvisual aspects of vision” and “healthy lighting”. Result: with the application of the method, 156 articles of interest were obtained. As a main conclusion, a survey identified seven articles specific to the topic, and of these, only six dealt with the specific themes indicated by the CIE.
