With the increase in temperature in several regions of the planet, air conditioning systems are increasingly common in educational environments. This study aims to present the validation of a low-cost IoT device called Healthy Classroom (SAS, from the acronym in Portuguese), designed to monitor the air renewal rate and display the need for corrective actions, such as the controlled opening of doors or windows. For validation, an experiment was carried out to monitor carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration, air temperature, and relative humidity, compare the results with reference equipment, and analyze the consistency of the data. The results indicated a strong correlation of the measurements between the devices, reinforcing the SAS as a solution with potential application in educational environments and contributing to the efficient decision-making of the user in search of better indoor air quality.
