Este artigo analisa a implementação do BIM no setor público de Recife-PE, considerando o avanço da Estratégia Nacional de Disseminação do BIM no Brasil. A metodologia envolveu o mapeamento dos órgãos que lidam com a gestão de obras públicas em Recife, a elaboração de um questionário digital, e por fim, a sistematização e análise dos resultados obtidos. Com isso, pode se destacar a necessidade de compreender as características regionais para superar barreiras na disseminação do BIM. Este estudo, portanto, oferece um panorama do BIM no setor público de Recife, identificando sua adesão, formação e desafios, bem como perspectivas para a sua implementação.
