Abstract

This article examines the implementation of BIM in the public sector of Recife-PE, considering the progress of the National BIM Dissemination Strategy in Brazil. The methodology involved mapping the agencies responsible for managing public construction in Recife, applying a digital questionnaire, and finally, systematizing and analyzing its results. The results emphasized the need to understand regional characteristics in order to overcome barriers in BIM dissemination. This study provides an overview of BIM in the public sector of Recife, identifying its adoption, training, and challenges, as well as perspectives for its implementation.
