The civil construction sector is considered one of the largest consumers of resources on the planet and one of the main productive sectors of the economy. In order to reduce waste and improve the processes involved, the flow of materials used in construction must have its processes systematized, in order to improve its efficiency. The identification of the material flow allows its equation, from simulations, to obtain or obtain the maximum efficiency in its processes. To study a delay generator application and its accounting and an analysis of the impact caused under a concrete block supply chain. Were used to prepare the article as simulations of the software "STELLA" and an analysis of the proposal of researchers in the civil construction sector. The application of the principles of Lean Construction and the possibilities of theoretical simulation with the use of the solutions applied by the researchers stand out. Through the analyzes carried out in this study, it was possible to evaluate the effectiveness and precision of the model elaborated with great reality, allowing to see or impact delays with greater clarity and a better understanding of their behavior, where it is possible to verify the harmful effects of a inventory and supply control system.
