The focus of this article is directed to information studied in the methodology of application of bamboo in civil construction. Because of is a renewable material, with high performance and versatility to use, bamboo appears today as an alternative for Brazil and the world without more sustainable development. Currently, there is a worse the most occurrence of deforestation, emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and other imbalances existent, bam- boo together with another technique and application combination, has been gaining more and more potency as well the organic method, with the least constructive impact and energetic wear since the production started at its completion. In this context, this study aims to elucidate this construction process, exemplifying the key points in how to work with a raw material, from the productive work of the plant to the development for its final application in the constructions.
