Abstract

The use of industrial waste in the production of cementitious composites can present economic, technical and environmental advantages, which arouses the interest of the academic community. This Systematic Literature Review - RSL, sought to identify the ways to reuse the waste from sanitary ware - NRS in the manufacture of concrete and mortar, in order to categorize the studies already developed, as well as to identify the main techniques for characterizing these residues. The proposed categorization and systematic survey of factors offered in this research can help to diagnose possibilities for reusing waste, as well as identifying gaps in scientific knowledge. The results point to a low number of published articles, but with promising results for the incorporation of RLS in composites.
