ANÁLISE DE ADITIVOS CONTRATUAIS DE OBRAS DE PAVIMENTAÇÃO URBANA

The aim of this study is to identify justifications prepared by contract inspectors to support additives in urban paving infrastructure works for a public institution, as well as their respective values.The studied contracts started in 2016 and were concluded in 2019 under the same financing program.The aim of this research was to analyse contractual additives in the paving works on 7 streets (7 contracts). Qualitative and quantitative data were gathered, indicating which are the justifications disputed by the contract supervisor for requesting contractual value additives, both increases and suppressions. With all data statistically organized and analysed, a range of additives was found, ranging from 18.76% to -4.49% in relation to the contract value. The study has shown that failures in the design process, quantitative errors in the budget, external interferences, lack of geotechnical study, as well as lack of information on the existing drainage network in the municipality are the causes of additives.
