The circular economy (CE) and emerging digital technologies, such as big data and cloud computing, can minimize the environmental impacts of the construction sector by facilitating data management, access, and sharing. This article proposes a conceptual framework, based on a cloud platform that integrates data from the generation of construction and demolition waste (CDW) in the municipality of Curitiba. The framework aims to facilitate the management and the environmentally correct disposal of CDW. Technical, economic, and operational challenges were cited considering the lack of integration of the construction chain, web infrastructure, and culture in the separation of waste. The unified management of data on CDW favors the integration of the construction value chain, decision-making and the introduction of information and communication technologies in circular business models, facilitating the transition from the built environment towards sustainability.
