Abstract

Traditionally, the planning and control of processes in the construction industry is determined through deterministic techniques and/or tools, in which the eventual variations and unpredictability that affect production rates are not explicitly considered, so that production varies linearly with time. Thus, this paper proposes the nonlinear analysis of productivity, from the perspective of the parameters inherent to the theory of nonlinear dynamics. It is a theoretical study whose results are characterized by the qualitative analysis of productivity evolution. The qualitative results indicated a possible adherence of the behavior of production rates to the concepts of the theory in question.
