To better manage the information of a project, it is necessary to develop deliberative documents for BIM, such as the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). It establishes the uses, objectives, and processes of the project and the flow of information exchanged. This paper describes the collaborative and international experience of developing the BEP involving undergraduate and master's students from SENAI CIMATEC School of Technology and Purdue University in meeting the demands of a partner company. As a result, there was a 20% saving in hours worked by the partner company due to the development of the BEP.
