Abstract

Lighting is one of the physical aspects of the built environment that directly impacts people's quality of life, especially students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who are hypersensitive to visual stimuli, generating significant impacts on academic progression, behavior and health. of these students. This study aims to carry out a bibliometric analysis addressing the topic of lighting in teaching environments, its perception and influence on the Circadian rhythm and quality of life of students with autism, until January 2024. The following were identified in a database. articles related to the proposed topic and analyzed using Excel and VOSviewer software. The research recognized 1,038 unique articles and the results point to the existence of a direct or indirect relationship between the terms analyzed. There has also been a significant growth in the number of publications in recent years, indicating a growing trend in scientific research addressing these themes. These productions enrich architectural projects and, thus, contribute to the quality of School environments aimed at autistic people.
