Many cities have been experiencing strong vertical growth, which directly impacts the adoption of Photovoltaic Systems in urban areas. There is a great need for solutions that meet consumer units when there is no available roof area, whether for residential, commercial, or public buildings. In this context, the technique of building-integrated photovoltaic systems is gaining ground, which aims to solving the problem of the lack of useful space for installation. In Brazil, the technique is not widely explored due to the lack of available technologies in the market and the professional apparatus for installing these systems. This study aims to present the performance and financial return of the same photovoltaic system installed in different orientations of the facade of a public building located in the city of Belem, state of Pará, Brazil. To carry out the study, three-dimensional building simulation and photovoltaic system evaluation programs will be adopted. The results demonstrated the scenarios that have the most efficiency of electricity generation considering the degradation of the PV system, impacting the financial return of each system.
