Abstract

This scientific initiation research aimed to demonstrate the importance of the detailed design of the components that make up the facades of tall buildings that aim to achieve environmental thermal comfort and energy efficiency. It is observed that strategies that seek high building performance can be enhanced through this element given its relevance to interference within buildings and its mediation role between the external and internal environments of the enterprise. The research consisted of analyzing the envelope of tall buildings that were responsive and used components designed to reduce the use of active systems in internal environments, as well as using renewable natural resources to reduce their energy costs. As a result of the research, a website was created with data on the projects of these buildings for consultation and learning purposes.
