This research is part of the debate on housing policy, more specifically on the territorial effects of projects implemented by the Minha Casa Minha Vida program. Based on the concept of territorialization, the demographic, socioeconomic and spatial aspects that influence the territory (re)construction processes of the Residencial Vista Bela in Londrina-PR are investigated. This research uses as an analytical procedure, the mapping of assistance information on the resident families from the analyzed housing development, systematized in a georeferenced environment. The successive approximations method allowed for an understanding of the removal process, from the origin of the residents to aspects of social vulnerability, evidenced the power relationships present over the territory, and how institutional decisions are articulated with spatial aspects creating a particular territorial configuration that directly impacts the processes of (re)territorialization of families in their new place of residence. Thus, this research contributes to the reflection on measures and policies aimed at retaining families in housing developments and the creation of strategies to strengthen affective bonds with the place.
