As urbanization grows, neighborhood sustainability becomes important to fulfil welfare and progress standards towards the UN Agenda 2030’s Sustainable Development Goals. From a selection of neighborhood sustainability assessment have been indicators identified to achieve sustainability at urban scale. This paper uses exploratory factor analysis to identify a set of potential indicators for to provide arguments for the development of future proposals for urban sustainability assessment tools, aimed at existing neighborhood. The set selected with successive principal components analysis resulted in the selection of 13 indicators considering the four dimensions of sustainability. The system helps professionals and decision makers to identify the presence of sustainable measures and the best choices in the neighborhood development, aiming at building more sustainable communities.
