This work sought to investigate whether the pedagogical projects, of the Civil Engineering courses, offered by public institutions in the State of Pará, addressed in their mandatory subjects issues related to gender and diversity, as well as, indicated in their texts, other possibilities for the theme was addressed in the training of students. To think that, for a humanistic vision to be developed in the egress, it is necessary that formal training opportunities for previous organizers be made available, that is, that the possibilities of developing such attitudes and understandings about themes that cross professional activity, for example, in people management, or in project management, considering plural people and cities, with interactions with inclusive policies. The National Curriculum Guidelines for the Undergraduate Engineering course give an indication of demand for considering the user in view of his needs and context. In the documentary analysis, the strings “gender”, “diversity”, “LGBT +” and “women” were adopted, analyzing the context of the use of these terms in the pedagogical project. Of the trained courses, only the one offered by the Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará as strings were present, with the exception of LGBT +, or variants of this acronym, demonstrating that improvements are being introduced.
