Abstract

The aim of this paper was to explore the topic of Energy Efficiency in University Campi to identify the state of the art, opportunities, and trends in the scientific research in national scientific publications, including gaps regarding energy benchmarking of university buildings. Parts of the ProKnow-C method was used. Qualitative analysis was performed with the categorization of articles according to niches: Diagnosis, Optimization, Automation, User and Others. The results indicate an international research trend on Automation. In Brazil, Diagnosis and Optimization are niches where there are opportunities for research, including what concerns to energy benchmarking. It is expected that the present work can support the development of future research.
