Abstract

Climate change impacts the construction sector, both in the environmental aspect and also in the relationship with users, due to the importance of the thermal comfort of buildings. In this perspective, the objective of this article is to analyze the heat flow of walls and openings of a type floor located in a building in the city of Joinville-SC. The floor consists of three apartments divided into kitchen, suite 1, suite 2, bedroom, bathroom and living room. Thus, the study proposes to map the incident heat flow in these environments in order to understand their dynamics throughout the day, months and year, in addition to identifying improvements in the project. For this, mathematical tools described in the Brazilian standard and software were used. In the analysis of a typical day, the highest peak of flow is in suite 2 of apartment 1 and in the kitchen in apartments 2 and 3. On the heat map, during the months and seasons, two environments stood out: the kitchen of apartment 3 and suite 1 of apartment 1. After minor adjustments to the plant, there was a decrease in heat flow of 64.23% in suite 1, and 37.50% in the kitchen.
