AVALIAÇÃO COMPARATIVA DA QUALIDADE DE DOIS CONJUNTOS HABITACIONAIS DE INTERESSE SOCIAL NO MUNICÍPIO DE TAUBATÉ (SP) EM DIFERENTES PERÍODOS HISTÓRICOS

The objective of this article is to evaluate the quality of Social Housing from comparison between two projects in different historical periods in the municipality of Taubaté (SP). The evaluation was carried out by means of exploratory bibliographic research and a specific study of two housing complexes, one from the 1940s of the last century and the other from 2016 with few years of use. The criteria were for the Casa Azul Seal of Caixa Econômica Federal in terms of urban quality, design and environmental comfort. The results indicate that the oldest housing complex, despite the lack of standardization and indicative legislation at the time, presents better living conditions despite the fact that both are deficient in the adopted criteria. It is surprising that the certification of the financial agent itself is not mandatory for the granting of financing.
