INTERNATIONAL ALTERNATIVES TO THE STANDARDIZATION OF GLEBA PALHANO COLLECTIVE HOUSINGS IN LONDRINA

The rapid change in Brazilian urban landscapes due to the increase in multifamily housing construction observed since the mid-1990s brings up the need for discussion about the production of collective housing, even more so because there has been a standardization of design strategies imposed by the market real estate, transforming living space into a consumer product. Thus, considering that in other countries the production of vertical collective housing is not influenced by Brazilian agents, the research defined national and international samples through pre-established selection criteria in order to compare them according to parameters related to the construction of the building and the plan of its housing unit and type floor, in order to identify alternatives of foreign design strategies. In the end, it was found that, in addition to the strategies already standardized by the national real estate market, different configurations could be taken to meet the density and program needs of the Brazilian sample.
