PROJECT ANALYSIS AS ARCHITECTURAL KNOWLEDGE: CULUNCO HOUSE CASE STUDY

The project is a source of knowledge and widely used as a means of expanding the repertoire by architects. Formal analysis methods favor the systematization of objective and subjective aspects. In this sense, we start with the following question: How can project analysis contribute to the interpretation of the project? The main objective of the article is to verify the coherence between the central ideas extracted from the analysis and those actually employed by the architects of the Ecuadorian firm Al Borde in the Culunco House project. The analysis of the project, with emphasis on the use of the redesign resource, revealed great potential as an instrument of interpretation.
