Abstract

This article is a product of the author's dissertation entitled "Center for Psychosocial Care of Alcohol and Drugs: An Architectural Approach to a Case Study in Maceió-AL under the PostOccupancy Evaluation". This study came to the knowledge that in Alagoas, most of these Centers are in adapted places, such in residencies. This can lead to difficulties in maintaining the quality of their physical spaces and offering services to a socially marginalized public. Therefore, the objectives of this research are: to analyze, through the Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE), the environmental quality of the Center for Psychosocial Care of Alcohol and Drugs (CAPS-AD) located in the city of Maceió-AL. The methodology has a qualitative and exploratory approach, containing bibliographic review of the conditioning of project of these Centers and PostOccupancy Evaluation through the instrument analysis walkthrough combined with semistructured interviews. The results were synthesized from the discoveries and recommendations charts, subsidies for planning, adequacy and construction of the object of study. Finally, this article can contribute to discussions and researches aimed at the adequacy of the Centers for Psychosocial Care of Alcohol and Drugs projects.
