A brief integraded literature review on post-occupancy evaluation and environmental quality

Abstract

This article is part of the research “[SISTEMA APO-DIGITAL] Interfaces digitais de avaliação pós ocupação da qualidade ambiental no habitar” and seeks to carry out a bibliographical survey of the areas of Post-Occupancy Evaluation and Environmental Quality in order to investigate the correlation between them, their strengths and possible shortcomings, taking in account emerging issues such as the Sustainable Development Goals. The methodology adopted was that of exploratory research using known databases, with subsequent selection and in-depth study of the most relevant works in the context. In sequence, a brief analysis of previous works developed by the group was carried out, the research [HABITAR VERTICAL]. The results point to the importance of transferring quantitative and qualitative data for better information surveys within the methodological processes of POE. In addition, it was found that questionnaires on satisfaction and/or use of spaces constitute an important assessment tool, used in several cases.
