Among the various existing digital innovations for the discussion of the project in AEC, the use of immersive technological tools has stood out in collaborative environments for helping to capture project requirements and guidelines from the collaboration of end users. The objective of this article is to explore the potential of an immersive virtual tool for collecting data with end users using smartphones and Virtual Reality glasses. Simulations were carried out with the participation of users of a sectorial library to evaluate the project of the new Central Library of the University of Londrina, focusing on analyzes of perception of circulation, dimensioning, lighting and furniture. As a result, it was possible to identify the most important requirements for users and propose changes to the new library project, showing that the tool has great potential as a facilitator in the process of understanding architectural details.
