Support tools for architectural recommendations linked to the climate are of great use in the initial design phase, contributing to the designer's decisions and the analysis of different solutions comparatively. Among these tools, the easy-to-use Mahoney Tables stand out were developed for hot and dry climates and aiming at the thermal comfort and low cost of the solutions. One of the observed limitations of the Mahoney Tables refers to the analysis in regions with transitional climatic characteristics between two different climates. In order to overcome this limitation, a new methodology based on the Traditional Mahoney Tables: the Nebulous Mahoney Tables, based on subjective values of fuzzy logic, has been proposed in the literature. Thus, the objective of this work is to compare the proposed methodologies of the Mahoney Traditional Tables (TMT) and the Nebulous Mahoney Tables (TMN), using the climatic database of the Climatic Norms of 1961 -1990 and 1981 - 2010. Adopted the two periods of climatic data are analyzed in order to verify the climatic adaptation capacity of the two methodologies. The results obtained showed that the Mahoney Nebulae Tables show greater sensitivity and adaptability to the Brazilian climate.
