DESEMPENHO LUMINOSO DE DISPOSITIVO DE PROTEÇÃO SOLAR TIPO BRISE PARA AMBIENTE ESCOLAR
Keywords:
Natural lighting, sun protection devices, brisesAbstract
The research aimed to evaluate natural lighting inside a school building with regard to luminous performance due to the adoption of sun protection devices of the brise type. The methodology was structured considering the realization of simulations in a typical school environment located in the city of Vitória-ES (LAT 20 ° 19 'S), adopting the standard sky types of the CIE (Commission Internationale L'aclairage) for the assessments. The definition of the geometry of the horizontal brises was carried out using the Solar Charter of Vitória - ES (Brazil), with seven brises of greater depth (54 cm) and fifteen brises of less depth (25 cm) being adopted for the North orientation. Afterwards, computational simulations were performed through TropLux software. The analyzed natural lighting values were compared with UDI (Useful Daylight Illuminances), displayed through the analysis of twenty points inserted in an orthogonal mesh in the internal environment. The percentages of the UDI were specified for intervals between 8 am and 4 pm for the whole year and as isocurves were analyzed at predefined times and days of the year From the analysis of the results, it was possible to conclude that for the North orientation, for all the analyzed skies, the brises of greater depth presented a better performance in relation to the percentages of the UDIs, besides providing a greater vision for the external environment, based on the reduction in the quantity of horizontal plates.
