ÍNDICE DE ESPAÇO ABERTO COMO CONTROLE DO DESEMPENHO DA LUZ NATURAL NO INTERIOR DO AMBIENTE CONSTRUÍDO

Daylighting Availability, Urban Forms, Building GeometryAbstract
The availability of daylight inside the environments is influenced by different urban forms, created from the diverse architectural combinations and different dispositions among buildings. A greater flexibility in composition allows a bigger distance and it diversifies the relationship between open spaces and built spaces. However, the used urban rules limit the architectural creation, at the same time as they may not be sufficient to guarantee the adequate daylight performance. Therefore, this work aims to verify a minimum value of the Open Space Ratio – OSR, which, together with traditional urban indices, such as Floors Space Index – FSI, Ground Space Index – GSI and number of floors, can be used as a criterion for controlling the performance of daylight (Spatial Daylight Autonomy - sDA300,50%), for the city of Florianópolis (latitude 27º), in Spacemate. As a result of the lot’s study, at least 50% of the floors accomplished were found in the scenarios of floors 2 to 13 (GSI=30%), 2 to 9 (40%), 2 to 7 (50%), 2 to 5 (60%) and 2 and 3 (70% e 80%), considering the value of sDA≥45%. Furthermore, the Open Space Ratio – OSR, related to the total built area to the open area, was analyzed and a satisfactory performance was confirmed in all the scenarios that computed a value ≥ 0.2.
