The creation of lean thinking provided several changes and benefits for the construction scenario. In the 1980s, studies on the theme of organizational culture, in the most diverse sectors of society, were intensified. However, in the civil construction sector, many of these benefits fail to overcome theoretical barriers, suggesting organizations to present results based on lean practices. Through the literature it was found that, many times, the failure in the implementation of lean practices is associated with barriers in the process of absorption of production systems imposed by the organizational culture, since this has a strong impact on the operational performance and in the maintenance of the implemented improvements in the company. In view of this problem, the synergy between the application of good lean practices, maturity and organizational culture in civil construction was investigated, through a bibliometric research. The working method used in this research comprises bibliographical and bibliometric research, systematizing the results in graphs and observations made from the combination of strings. From these results, favorable conclusions were reached on the advances in the contributions to the implementation of good practices, assisting in the development of organizational culture in civil construction. However, only works were found that deal with the synergy between two of the themes, lean construction and organizational culture.
