Abstract

This research had a qualitative and exploratory character and was based on two projects selected for the case studies, which were coordinated by the architectural firm. The wastes by making-do are present in all stages, existing countless combinations between the prerequisites, categories and impacts in works. The objective of this work was to study the relationship between the causes, categories and impacts of making-do related wastes and to analyze the risks of the impacts generated by them. The item information was the one that resulted in a higher number of wastes, related to the categories component adjustment and sequencing. The wastes that generate the greatest risk on site are the category of component adjustment and rework related to the lack of the prerequisite information.
