Abstract

The analysis of the quality of daylighting and the visual perception in teaching environments, through measurement parameters used in the qualitative and quantitative characterization of the behaviour of daylighting, were the guidelines adopted in the research. For that, experiments were carried out to measure the illuminance values. The luminous quality of an environment is related to the physical brightness data of the surfaces, portrayed through luminance’s and illuminances. The article considers aspects of energy efficiency in helping to reduce artificial energy consumption, promoting student visual comfort, productivity, and visual performance in teaching environments.
