The "International Group for Lean Construction" seeks to adapt a new management philosophy to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. Learning this philosophy can be supported by the use of active methodologies, especially didactic games. This work aimed to analyze the evolution of the application of didactic games as teaching techniques in the context of the Lean Construction community. A literature review and an analysis of an empirical experience were carried out, in an Architecture and Urbanism undergraduate course. The results demonstrate the evolution of the use of these techniques, as well as their implications for the education and training of AEC professionals.
