The evaluation of performance in buildings is an important aspect within the field of construction management, as it determines several factors, such as the energy efficiency of the building, the need for maintenance and the degree of satisfaction of its occupants. Postoccupational assessment is one of the most popular forms of performance analysis, but it doesn’t have defined criteria that suit different types of buildings, such as educational ones. Therefore, the aim of this article is to conduct a systematic review, seeking to list the criteria used in evaluating the performance of educational buildings. The review was conducted in four research bases, and data were analyzed using the 5W1H tool. For data collection and quantification, the following questions were asked: Who wrote the article?; Where and what type of school building was addressed in the research?; When was the research published? ; What criteria are used for analysis? Why was the research developed?); What methods were used in the evaluation?. It was concluded that there is still a long way to go to create a standardization in the evaluation of the performance of educational buildings, but one of the best tools to conduct this type of evaluation is to analyze the opinion of the building's occupants.
