ESTRATÉGIA PRÁTICA PARA A MATERIALIZAÇÃO DO APARATO LEGAL DA ACESSIBILDADE

Abstract

Checklist, Standards, Decrees, Laws and even our Constitution points out requirements for accessibility in the physical environment, however, the largest volume of obligations is inversely proportional to what we observe in Brazilian cities. The difficulties due to the lack of accessible solutions, added to the complex reading of legal documents, not always have an easy and objective interpretation and application. Seeking to contribute to reduce these divergences, this article presents an action-research of a master's thesis in progress, assuming that awareness, through education, is fundamental for an effective materialization of legal basis. The action has been applied to the professionals responsible for verifying the accessibility requirements according to the Normative Instruction 02 which regulates the Interministerial Ordinance referring to the standards for transferency of Union resources, in projects and public works in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas / State of São Paulo. Initially developed for a specific group, this action can be expanded to other professionals in public administration, collaborating for the development of truly accessible solutions.
